Meet the Heart Behind Sundae Swim School

Swimming has always been part of the story behind Sundae Swim School.

Head instructor Miss Jaclyn began swimming competitively at just seven years old and has carried that love for the water throughout her life. As a mother herself, she understands firsthand how important water safety is, especially for young children growing up around pools, beaches, and the Orange County lifestyle.

After experiencing the frustration many parents feel with overcrowded lessons, inexperienced instructors, and lessons with no structure, Jaclyn created Sundae Swim School to offer something more personal. Here, lessons are intentionally small, relaxed, and relationship-focused.

 Children receive patient, encouraging instruction in a calm environment where confidence can grow naturally.

Our mission is to help children develop lifelong water safety skills while leaving every lesson with what we like to call a “Sundae Smile.”

Aquatic Accomplishments

• Began swimming competitively at 7yo and morning practices began in 5th grade!
• Swam the Alcatraz Swim with the Centurions for the first time  at 13
• Made the Varsity Swim Team at Salinas High School as a Freshman on ~100 Person Swim Team 
• Participated in the mentorship program as a Freshman to teach swim skills to inexperienced swim team participants
• Established Special Olympics Swim Program at Paso Robles Sports Club

Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Accounting 

Our private heated saltwater pool was built with swim lessons in mind, featuring shallow access points and ledges for comfort and progression. As parents ourselves, we understand the importance of trust, communication, and helping children feel emotionally safe while learning.

Lessons are taught by experienced, mature instructors with a lifelong passion for swimming and water safety. We keep classes intentionally small to create a calm, personalized experience for every swimmer.
